Public Appeal: Help Identify Suspects in Warrington Purse Theft from a 70 year old Pensioner

Cheshire Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying three individuals captured in CCTV images in connection with a purse theft in Warrington.


The incident occurred on August 7th around 1:30 pm when a woman in her 70s was shopping on Sankey Street, Warrington, and discovered that her purse had been stolen from her bag.


As part of their ongoing investigation, Cheshire Police are eager to speak with the three women featured in these CCTV images. They were observed leaving the vicinity in a vehicle with ties to the Huddersfield area in West Yorkshire.

PC Graham Davies, the investigating officer, appeals to the public for assistance: "We've been making enquiries in the area and have identified that the women may be linked to the Huddersfield area. I'd urge anyone who recognises these women or has any information that will help identify the suspects to contact me."
