Reward Offered and Images Released in Re-Appeal Following Assault – Eynsham

Thames Valley Police is re-releasing CCTV images of a group of four individuals whom officers would like to speak to following an assault in Eynsham.



At approximately 10:10 pm on Saturday 7th October 2023, a member of staff at the Co-op on High Street, Eynsham, confronted a group of individuals suspected of shoplifting. Subsequently, one of the group members sprayed Vanish liquid at the shop assistant.


As a result of the incident, the victim sustained injuries to their eyes and received hospital treatment. They have since been discharged.


The Co-op is offering a reward of £2000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the incident, provided the information is provided by the end of May 2024.


Investigating officer PC Nicky Beltran stated: “I appeal to anyone who recognises the four individuals in these images to please get in touch with us as we believe they may have vital information about this incident.


"If you are pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.
